Hi, I'm Ann - thanks for stopping by! I'm a wife, mom of two boys, and a busy corporate professional. Like many of us, my life is very full! I never feel like there are enough hours in the day, but there are some things I value deeply and prioritize in my life, regardless of how many practices or games I'm carting kids to, or how many hours I'm logging to keep up with my day job.
For me, nourishing my body (and my family) with balanced, nutritious meals is really important. We're all active, and I know we feel and do our best when we have meals that will sustain us and keep us fueled well. But food is also fun, and meant to be enjoyed, so balancing our enjoyment and nutrition is the sweet spot for me.
Movement is also so important to keeping me sane and feeling like myself. How I move, and how much time I spend moving, changes at different seasons of life, but I do my best to make it a priority. That might mean finding creative ways to get some steps in, or getting up a bit earlier so I can get a strength training session in before work but I know I feel better in my day when I've moved my body.
